VETERAN-HISTORIC CYCLE & RACING CLUB
The V-HCRC was originally started in the latter 1980s to enable people to compete in Time Trials and races organised for veteran and classic cycles. It also organises club runs and leisure rides for these types of machines so that those who do not wish to actively compete can still enjoy the machines and the camaraderie of a club.
Events 2007:
June 3rd - Herne Hill - Family Fun Day -Various races for veteran and classic cycles including solid tyres, classic etc. Contact Phil Wray
July 14th - Tin Can Ten hub gear time trial, East Leake, near Loughborough. 2 laps of a sporting course. Contact Phil Wray

The Tin Can Ten - time trial for hub-geared machines was held on Saturday 19th July 2003 on a 10.5 mile - two laps of a 'sporting' course near East Leake, Leics. Conditions were warm but windy. The tea and cakes were welcomed by all after the event!!
